GH 2007

GH2007 was the year:

  • GH 20 years anniversary!  A plaque was mounted at the first tee and a plaque unveiling ceremony took place the first morning.

  • Team Engman won.

  • A bear was seen on the 17th fairway.

  • The weather was nice, mostly sunshine and 20-25° all four days.

  • Tim discovered Newtons Law #1 (If no net force acts on a particle (Tim), then it is possible to select a set of reference frames, called inertial reference frames, observed from which the particle moves without any change in velocity.) by falling out of the cart when the cart turned and ....

  • ....Tim discovered Newtons Law #3 (Whenever a particle A (Tim) exerts a force on another particle B (earth), B simultaneously exerts a force on A with the same magnitude in the opposite direction.) by rolling down the slope before coming into a complete stop.

  • Team Johnson was renamed to Team UPS.

  • A dead squirrel in the toilet was taken as a sign from the Godfather.

  • Pre-GH took place in Kelowna (Team Ericsson) and in the Invermere/Kimberly- area (Team Johnson, Team Engman)

  • Team Ericsson made it as the last car on the ferry....only because Tim blocked the gate with his head.....
